Tattoos are recent fashion statements which are mostly worn by young entertainers and sportsmen. There is hardly a footballer that doesn't have a tattoo on his or her body. However, in an environment where tattoos are the trendiest fashion statement some football stars do not have tattoos on their body. Although, for different reasons these football stars have their skin "undefiled" like that of a child. These footballers includes;


1. Willian




Latest Arsenal FC signing, Willian is one of the few Brazilians without a tattoo on their body. Brazilians are known for their extravagance and obsession for fashion especially tattoos. But Willian has distinguished himself by adopting a different lifestyle unlike other Brazilian football Giants like Neymar Jnr, Thiago Silva, and Ronaldinho. Although, he is not the only Brazilian player without a tattoo, other decent Brazilian footballers include the legendary Ricardo Kaka, David Luiz, Giberto Silva, Robinho and Roberto Carlos.


 2. Andres Iniesta



Former Barcelona and Spain captain, all through his twenty-two years at Camp Nou neither got a tattoo nor piercings. Iniesta's lifestyle was absolutely dedicated to football. No wonder, he won a total of 32 trophies all through his footballing career.


3. Mohammed Salah


 “The King of Egypt” as he is often referred to by Liverpool and English football fans. The Egyptian do not have a tattoo on his body. Mo Salah revealed in an interview, he had no tattoos, no particular hairstyle, and no piercing. Salah later added that he is a terrible dancer thus he doesn't enjoy going to bars or clubs. Just like teammate Sadio Mané, his religion don't endorse such lifestyle.

 4. David Luiz



David Luiz is the second Brazilian on this list. The Arsenal FC and Brazil international is a funny and extrovert player who surprisingly, unlike his peers, prefer a simple life. According to former Chelsea defender, tattoos are not comfortable especially because of his religion. He prefer to be like his idol Kaka who did not have any.

5. N’Golo Kanté


Chelsea and French player N’Golo Kanté is a player who doesn’t like to flaunt his extravagant wealth. 

Extremely reserved and always smiling Kanté has a simple and very humble life. Kanté has never been seen wearing earrings neither does he has a tattoo on his body.

 6. Christiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo also known as CR7 is arguably the best player that has ever played the beautiful game called football. In and out of the football pitch Cristiano has an exemplary lifestyle. The five time Balon d'or winner has a culture of donating blood regularly, thus in other to remain a qualified donor he has refused to have a tattoo to avoid his blood being contaminated. Ronaldo revealed in an interview, “I don't have tattoos because I donate blood so often. It doesn't cost anything. It's a simple process and then you feel happy because you know you are helping another person."

Apart from being a regular blood donor, the Juventus all time highest goal scorer is also a bone marrow donor. In this regard, he revealed to have helped his formal teammate Carlos Martins' son by giving him his bone marrow.
